After heard about Davido’s son’s passing, Nigerian music sensation Wizkid on Monday removed a tweet promoting his album from the internet.
Ifeanyi, a three-year-old kid of Davido and his spouse Chioma, was said to have drowned in the singer’s swimming pool at home on the Banana Island district of Lagos State.
The singer of “Essence” just dropped a new song called “Money & Love.” The song is from the musician’s album “More Love, Less Ego,” which will be published on November 4th, according to the artist.
On Monday night, Wizkid tweeted a promotion for the record, but as soon as word of Ifeanyi’s passing spread, he instantly erased it.
Many people have since praised the Grammy Award winner’s action as a sign.
Wizkid is very sensitive, according to @xothehybrid, recall when he scolded Reekado on Twitter for wanting to release a single when the nation was facing a crisis. The majority actually called him out for it; others even suggested that he go beg Reekado.
“As it should be, a loss of kid is a pain nobody can ever ever ever know or feel, and I pray we never ever face it. For those who have, may God console you and give you another chance to always be thankful and cheery once more…,” stated @choplifekitchenlagos.
You are unquestionably God, and you are the finest! Father Lord, if this was due to an unnatural cause, please grant those responsible for it the right to live in peace. However, if it was your fault, please do not grant them peace.
I admire Wizkid because he has a lot of empathy, and this is very terrible, remarked @leeeymarrh.
“I knew Wizkid wouldn’t drop his album again, this child’s death is too heartbreaking,” @just kanyin said.
He behaved well; there was no animosity, simply sadness when a youngster died, according to @internationalnyeweli.
He is a father, so he is aware of how painful this is. You cannot even wish for an enemy to experience such suffering, stated @bri zyyyy. It has depth.
That’s what a King should do, stated @rhukieee.
One thing about Wizkid, according to @o y e b a, is that he must display concern when called upon. Lord, let your will be done anyway. Davido, I feel your pain. Chioma, I feel your pain too. In honor of Ifeanyi, may God himself reach out to you, hold you close, and wipe away your tears.
“It wasn’t even up to a minute,” @nohpheesat stated. that he deleted it after he noticed what is happening.
