Following the passing of his son Ifeanyi, popular Nigerian artist David Adeleke, better known by his stage name Davido, removed advertisements for his upcoming music festival from his Instagram page.
Before the sad tragedy (Son Ifeayin), the artist had been using his social media profiles to advertise the music festival called “A.W.A.Y. (Are We African Yet?)”.
The event will take place in Atlanta on November 18, 2022, with the goal of fostering cultural exchange and cooperation between Africa and the rest of the world, according to the singer.
The DMW boss, who has been absent from social media since the incident that claimed the life of his 3-year-old son Ifeanyi, deleted the event flyers that had previously been pinned on his page.
Additionally, he erased his Instagram highlights from his collaborations with the global sportswear company PUMA and the AWAY festival.
