Popular Nigerian artist David Adeleke, also known by his stage as Davido, recently made an intriguing disclosure regarding his fiancee Chioma’s involvement in the music video for his smash single “Assurance.”
an interview with media personality Ebuka discussing his relationship with Chioma, Davido claimed that he had to lie to her in order to convince her to appear as his vixen in the song video.
Chioma first refused to appear in the “Assurance” video, according to Davido, who stated that they met while attending Babcock University. However, when he pleaded with her and made up a story about how vital it was and how much he needed it, she accepted.
He mentioned that despite never wanting to be in the spotlight, his fiancee often receives hate mail for being in a relationship with him, and she manages the situation well.
Speaking about how he knew Chioma was the one for him, he said that despite the fact that she is not their mother, Chioma is someone he can leave his other children with and be confident that nothing will happen to them.
He claims that he has known Chioma for seven years and that his friend Lati introduced the two of them.
2018 saw the release of Davido’s popular song “Assurance,” in which he “assured” his fiancée, Chioma, of his unwavering love.
