While returning from a film location, Junior Pope and three of his colleagues perished in their boat, which overturned on the Anam River in Anambra State.

Emeka Rollas, the president of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, announced his passing on Thursday and said that three more bodies have not yet been located.

After his passing, AGN proclaimed April 11 to be “No shooting day.” In addition, the Guild barred performers from participating in any film to be made by Adanma Luke, the producer of the disastrous film “The Other Side of Life,” and prohibited shooting in riverine locations and on boats for an indeterminate period of time.
