Jasmine, the daughter of Mr. Ibu, a Nigerian actor, has declared her separation from her American partner.
Jasmine Okafor married her lover, whom she met on TikTok, in February 2022.

She claimed that two months after they first met physically, her lover proposed to her in the Gambia.

Jasmine, meanwhile, confirmed her separation from her recently married partner via Instagram on Monday.
Jasmine claimed that she made the decision to leave after learning that her spouse had been married in the past and had three adult children.

Disappointed Jasmine then disclosed on her Instagram page that a falsehood had caused their happy marriage to end.

She said:

“This was the best 9 months of my life! I have no regrets whatsoever! I just won’t settle asking you about this severally before we started! Finding out today from your mum, really broke me! A foundation built upon a tiny lie won’t stand! I love how you loved me! Bur hate how you never mentioned your divorce nor kids to me! Moving on I don’t think I want anybody else! Just gonna love you from a distance.“

She had recently gave an update about her relationship, saying they had a low-key wedding after her ex-lover flew from America to propose to her in Gambia where they met physically.
