After being referred to as “abusive” by worried netizens, a lady who revealed that her husband had slept with her three weeks after giving birth stepped out in his defense.
The woman, who goes by the Twitter handle @her talking pen, made the revelation about her marriage in response to a discussion about whether it is proper for women to begin having sex after giving birth.

Some Twitter users pointed out that medically, six weeks is the ideal time for a woman who just welcomed a child to abstain from sex so she can heal properly. However, some women revealed that it took several months before they could have sex again.

In response to the discussion, @her talking pen expressed surprise that husbands wait six weeks before having sex with their wife and disclosed that her husband had sex with her three weeks after giving birth even though her tear had not completely healed.
Women on Twitter were outraged by this and criticized her husband for being hasty and unconsiderate of her. A interested tweep also inquired about the agony of the sex, to which the woman replied, “Very painful.”

Following the heavy backlash meted on her husband, the woman jumped to his defense and said she was not abused because she “consented” to the sex.

“U guys should be calming down o. I was not abused, I consented. It isn’t so deep 🤣. He is my husband and he is a sweet soul. He needed it and I consented.
